Sir,
With much
veneration and due honour I implore your Honour for your favour in considering
the following in the interest of the welfare of our incredible India. I am
happy to know that your Honour was pleased to do for the sake of Thirukkural. This shows that you are much aware
of the
1330 verses (Kurals) of the well-known book called Thirukkural, which is
translated in most of the languages of the world next to the Bible.
All 1330 Kurals
are 4+3 Words in 2 Line format under 133 Chapters, designed in such a way that
it would render counseling to all
sections of people from all walks of life. This is the wonder of the Kural. The
format used in Kural is called Kural-Venba grammar. Based on this grammar and
merging it into the grammar of English-Couplet I ventured into successfully translating
Thirukkural as it is. Whereby “Thirukkural English Couplet” reflects the
spirit of Thiruvalluvar in 4+3 word in 2 Lines, while adhering to the same
syllabic meter in 2 lines definition of a Couplet.
This book is
well known because of its grammar of 7 word Counseling, appealing to all
sections of people. It has 10 Kurals in a Chapter. But it has 30 Kurals for
Judges such as “ Judge
defends all but
Justice defends Judges” (Kural 547)
This
speaks well of the Justice, an abstract,
unseen quality itself defending Judges,
implying Judge’s justice being cosmic in
nature as they are immune in the world during their tenure. This sort of
prophetic nature is special characteristic of Kurals. It speaks for Politics,
Education, Ministers, life etc.
The Canadian
Prime Minister’s Office wished me during my
Book Release on 27.10.2018 knowing the richness of Kural through this translation. I
was with Mauritius Acting President His Excellence Mr.Paramasivum Pillai Vyapoory,G.O.S.K.

the Thiruvalluvar’s Day while commemorating our Republic Day in India, when the
Mauritius Prime Minister was our Chief Guest on the day.
As the Chief
Guest on the Day I could speak on
the richness of Thirukkural expressed through its Kural-venba grammar to
the Tamils in Mauritius and others there. During your election campaign the following Kurals may be of immense energy to the soul and
body:
“Reveled knowledge is better
Than bookish

or loss we
Attain
by cosmic-law” ( Kural 376)
“Cosmic-law designs
every fortune
We

endeavour. This book’s another uniqueness is its address to the world, being witnessed by its
mention of no religion, no language even Tamil, no caste, no sect etc.. I also

implementation of Thirukkural English
Couplet as an English subject in schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu with a
view to establishing a new world combined with values and technologies.
